After nearly two decades of building homes in Texas, Betenbough Homes remains dedicated to offering home buyers a unique, simplified process for purchasing a new home.  Below are the nine steps we have put in place to help walk you through the home buying process.  Welcome Home!

 

1. Shopping for your new home
Choose the home of your dreams in one of our nine appealing neighborhoods in West Texas.  View our area map for a list of Lubbock, Midland and Odessa communities.

2. Applying for a loan
In an effort to save money and ensure world-class service for our home buyers, Betenbough Homes has established exclusive partnerships with a select group of local mortgage lenders, known as Betenbough Homes Preferred Lenders.  Financing your home is made easy through the efforts of these top-notch representatives.

3. Choose your colors
An array of personal choices are available to help you determine your personal style.  Make your selections at one of our three model home locations.

4. Pre-construction meeting
This hour-long meeting allows home buyers a chance to review and finalize their selections prior to beginning construction.

5. New home construction timeline

Streamlined systems and a strict focus on organization enable us to deliver more home for less money in approximately 100-150 calendar days.  A professional team of Quality Inspectors has been assembled to ensure that your home not only meets, but exceeds your expectations.

6. Customer communication
An in-house team has been created to manage behind-the-scenes paperwork and communication between you, your lender and Betenbough Homes.

7. Frame tour
A one-hour meeting designed to familiarize you with our state-of-the-art engineered framing system occurs halfway through the construction process.

8. Homeowner orientation
A final opportunity to review your home's features and warranties and discuss maintenance, the orientation occurs within one week of closing and is mandatory for all Betenbough home buyers.

9. Closing day
It's time to approve and sign all closing documents, legally transferring ownership of the home to your name.  Once complete, you will receive the keys to your new home.
